Janet McMahon will host our next Cocktails in the Garden at her home, 3275 Hyannis Ave., North Port

Join us for refreshments and garden inspiration!
Janet’s yard has a mixture of Florida Friendly plants, both ornamental and native, with a focus on plants that attract and provide food for pollinators, butterflies, birds and other wildlife. Plants include Firespike, Firebush, Wild Coffee, Cocoplum, Beautyberry, Sea Grape, Plumbago, Panama Rose, Bottlebrush, Jatropha, Pentas and several varieties of Ginger and Gardenia, under a canopy of Oaks, Pines and Sabal Palms. She also has a collection of orchids. Her yard has been certified as a wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, and she hopes it will qualify soon as a Florida Friendly Landscape.

Cocktails in the Garden has been a popular event where we get to know each other a little bit better.

It’s for members only and spouses are encouraged to attend.
