DESCRIPTION:David Sand\, bromeliad specialist at Michael’s Bromeliads in Venice and owner Michael Kiehl will talk to us about how to grow and care for terrestrial and epiphytic bromeliads. Come learn about this diverse plant family. Michael’s Bromeliads sits on ten acres of wooded property in Venice. Their nursery has 15 greenhouses\, with over 50\,000 square feet under shade cloth. More than 3000 varieties of bromeliads are available by mail order\, both domestic and internationally.  \nPlants will be available for purchase after the meeting.
